With offices across the North West, Yorkshire and the Midlands, award-winning estate agents Ascend Property were looking to move their Leeds branch out of a serviced office and into a more visible, high street location.
With the right commercial site identified, Ged McPartlin, managing director, and his team needed a design and fit out partner to convert it into impressive new retail offices.
Ged contacted Eatock Design and Build as well as two other fit out companies, and after initial discussions the project was awarded to us. “Paul was the best value, but what really won it was that he speaks our language. We can have a very honest, frank, upfront conversation. Paul’s trustworthy - it took the element of risk away.”
As soon as the design brief for the project was completed and approved, we ensured all requirements and specifications were fulfilled regarding the clients’ timeline and budget.
The brief was to fit out multiple new retail offices. The fit-out project included the initial design, installations, office fit-out and furniture, colour matching, branding, and much more.
Scope of Work
The office fit out project took 6 weeks in total, where we worked in a practical and methodical way to ensure all deadlines were met and the project was completed to a high standard.
Office furniture was specified to match the décor styling throughout the contemporary, modern office. Due to the fact the office is highly visible with being on a high street in Leeds, it was important to ensure the overall design represented and elevated the Ascend Property brand. And not only that, had to be comfortable and functional for staff to assist with visiting customers.
Ged McPartlin, managing director, comments,
He got it first time with a few tweaks along the way, but he got it right the first time. He knows his stuff, he’s a good guy. I prefer to do business with people I trust. He says he’s going to do something and he does it. I like that.
Paul proved himself on the first site. He instantly won himself another project. We’re going to open more branches over the coming years and are acquiring businesses so will need to rebrand and we’ll definitely use him again. It works.”
