Sano Physiotherapy have enjoyed significant and rapid expansion over recent years, which has resulted in new clinics opening over a relatively short space of time.
Eatock Design & Build are proud to have been a part of this journey, providing fit out and refurbishment services for some of their clinics.
One of which was in their site at Pudsey in Leeds, which also incorporates a large office space for their team.
Matthew Taylor, Managing Director of Sano Physiotherapy, invited Paul Eatock to the site at Pudsey to discuss the project’s potential.
“During the COVID period all of our staff were working from home for about 18 months. We wanted to create a space that was special for them, somewhere where they could work collaboratively and somewhere they were proud to work.
We had a rough brief in what we wanted to achieve, and Paul managed to embellish on that with his own ideas and using his own experience. The office space now is what he created.”
The brief was to design an interior office space that reflected the Sano Physiotherapy brand’s aspirations as well as creating a space that brought the best out of the team.
Scope of Work
Before initial 2D concept designs were created, it was important that we got to know the client – their personality and their wants and desires from a new office space.
From this we could design a workspace that not only fit their culture, but enhanced it to make them happier and more productive. It was clear that an open plan office with a breakout meeting room was the best route to take, to harness the team’s sociable mannerisms.
Here is the scope of works provided:
- New furniture
- Branded workspace with logo and livery on walls
- Crittall glass partitioning
- Power/data points
- 2D designs
Standout features of the office fit out project included the seamless branding in the interior. The company’s logo and colour scheme decorated the walls in the meeting room. Also separating the meeting room with the larger open space was a stunning crittall-framed glass partition, together with glass door.
The work Eatock Design & Build has carried out has transformed the office space within Sano Physiotherapy’s Pudsey site.
Matthew Taylor, Managing Director, commented,
“Everyone is really happy with the space and proud to call their ‘work home’. We are a sociable bunch so it was important to have a space where workers can collaborate and work effectively.
Paul developed an open plan layout but with a breakout space.
Paul came in an explained everything really clearly, almost held our hands throughout the whole process. As a result, what we have is fantastic.”
The project was a great success and we were pleased to work with Sano Physiotherapy on a total of three sites within 2021. More office fit out projects are planned for the future with them.
