We’re a leading office fit out company based in Manchester
We have worked with many businesses in Manchester and the rest of the UK, where we have helped create inspirational new office spaces.
Our strong experience in office refurbishment and fit out work means we work perfectly with business owners, managing directors or facilities managers, as well as architects and contractors.
We fully understand that businesses still need to operate while their space is being renovated, and our team works in a conscientious and sensitive way around staff. Integrity is key to our operation and we turn up when we say we’re going to turn up, and even little touches like we clean up thoroughly afterwards go a long way.
Bespoke interior fit outs for commercial spaces
Eatock Design and Build were proud to provide an office fit out service for 33Legal, based in Manchester city centre.
33Legal was a growing business with huge ambitions and wanted to upgrade their office space to inspire their staff and attract the best talent. After a year of their team working from home, 33Legal wanted to create a stylish and functional office space to help welcome their team back and ensure it was an easier transition for them.
We carried out a full Cat B refit where we designed a stunning open plan office design with various internal elements and break out areas. These included office/desk areas, meeting rooms, waiting area, media booths, board room and storage options.
Andrew Doyle, Director of 33Legal, commented, “Paul veered me away from bad choices. It was essential. Without him we’d have had a bland two-dimensional office. Instead, we’ve ended up with something great. I don’t think there’s anything out there that’s better and he was 100% the driving force behind it.”
Eatock Design and Build have also helped fit out other Manchester based offices, including office fit out and furniture supply for Capstone Financial based in Altrincham. View the case study here.
Cat A and Cat B bespoke interior fit outs
Eatock Design and Build can assist with both Cat A and Cat B office interior fit out projects.
What’s the difference between Cat A and Cat B?
A Cat A commercial interior fit out refers to a space that is fully functional, but will be empty at the end of the project. So it is common for landlords to undertake these fit outs so their property is ready to lease by the end.
A Cat A project involves the mechanical and electrical aspects of a project, as well as a few other factors such as internal walls, suspended ceilings, flooring or reception areas.
Cat B fit out projects involve much more of a detailed and thorough process, where a space is completely bespoke to suit the occupant. Often this involves integrating a business’ branding into the interior scheme.
Other factors in a Cat B fit out include lighting, furniture, fabrics, materials, and technology, and help shape an interior space much more. The Cat B process can play a big role in a fit out project where it visually has to appeal and represent the client’s brand ethos.
The office fit out process
To give you a breakdown of the whole process, an office fit out process can be separated into three main stages.
Stage 1 is about setting the brief and the foundations of the refurbishment project at hand. Here our team of Paul or Jeni will listen to your requirements and get to know your business and your objectives. We want to truly understand what you want to get out of your office renovation.
Stage 2 is developing the ideas into designs and concepts, giving you a look into what your office space could look like. We make sure your brand values are reflected in your designs.
Stage 3 is the actual fit out process. We fully manage the whole refurbishment project and we use our carefully selected network of sub-contractors to ensure the highest quality finish for you.
